61% of low-income families have no children’s books at home.

Reading to children between the crucial ages of 0-5 substantially enhances their language proficiency, cognitive abilities, emotional intelligence, and overall preparedness for future academic and life endeavors.

Our Mission

At EverMor Book Club, our mission is to foster a love of reading and support literacy development among children and youth ages 0–18 in El Paso, TX, and Southeastern New Mexico. We are dedicated to providing free books to families in underserved communities, ensuring that every child has access to the transformative power of literature and the lifelong benefits of reading.

In addition to distributing books, we educate families and community leaders on the importance of reading aloud and engaging children in literacy from an early age, an activity proven to strengthen academic success, critical thinking, and social-emotional growth.

Through community engagement, mentorship, and collaborative efforts, EverMor Book Club empowers children with the foundational skills for a brighter future, fosters literacy-rich home environments, and creates opportunities for youth to explore storytelling, build empathy, and unlock their full potential.

How We Serve

  • Pages for Purpose

Our book clubs offer a mentor-led, interactive environment where youth can discuss stories, explore new ideas, and build positive social skills. Through structured yet fun reading sessions, participants develop empathy, respectful communication, and problem-solving abilities, while gaining a lifelong love of reading and learning.

  • Community Gifting

We are committed to serving children of all ages by offering age-appropriate books at no cost to various organizations, programs, and community parks. Through this initiative, we aim to contribute to literacy development and spread the joy of reading across diverse settings within our community.

  • Parental Education

We empower families with the knowledge and tools to foster literacy at home. Through workshops, guidance, and resources, parents and caregivers learn how reading aloud, discussing stories, and engaging with children around books can strengthen academic success, critical thinking, and social-emotional growth.
